Heart disease is the most common cause of death in the United States. Knowing how and when to respond to a heart emergency is a critical lifesaving skill. Learning the techniques through CPR/First Aid/AED certification will ensure that you are prepared to assess the scene for safety and respond when faced with a heart attack, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction or another emergency waiting for the ambulance and qualified EMS (Emergency Medical Staff) to arrive.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. Cost $80

Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR for the Healthcare Provider.

- This is the course required by most employees in the medical field (i.e. hospitals, nursing homes, hospice care, clinics, dental offices, physical therapist, etc.)

- Core topics include Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Conscious Choking, and AED

- Class is approximately 2-2 1/2 hours long and the cost is $45

This option is also avail for work at you own pace online option then come into office and demonstrate skills at a later date & time.

Adult First Aid/CPR/AED

This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 5 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. $50

SAME DAY CPR

Certifications provided by BHTI expire after two years of completion, in compliance with AHA guidelines. If you are a returning BHTI student or had CPR before you are able to come in and review and demonstrate skills and receive CPR card instantly. Please call office for more information.

Each course can be used as a refresher course and you should be able to complete your re-certification with ease, while ensuring you are up to date on your knowledge and skills.
