Class Schedules for 2023

Are you ready to change your life for the better, all while helping others? Bethel House Training Institute’s Certified Nursing Assistant program* prepares you for an entry-level position as a nursing assistant. In this program you will learn how to provide basic patient care under the direction of a nursing staff in residential care facilities. Nursing assistant job duties may include: taking patient vital signs, helping with basic needs such as bathing or dressing, serving meals, assisting with medical procedures and providing compassionate, one-on-one care to patients on a daily basis.

We at BHTI understand and appreciate your busy schedule, which is why we offer both day and evening classes. Your tuition and fees include books, scrubs, TB test, stethoscope and state testing. You also get your CPR at discounted rate (for enrolled students only). We have payment plans available for your convenience.

The certified nurse assistance class schedules of Bethel House Training Institute in Wichita, Kansas are designed to meet the needs of busy working adults. We have three available time options.

 

This is a traditional/Hybrid class for those who would like more in depth teaching from an instructor but does have a smaller online portion.

 

COVID Vaccine NOT required to enroll or attend our class/clinicals!

Day Hybrid

This is a 4 week course

4 Class Days 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM 

 3 Clinical Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Meets at the Facility at 6:45am)

Days per week vary depending on the instructor

Course Totals 7 Mandatory in Person Days: 4 Class Days and 3 Clinical Days

Total Cost is $650 and requires a $250 deposit to start

December 11th - January 9th

Clinical Days: 1/3, 1/4, 1/9 from 7am-3:30pm

January 15th - February 11th

Class days: 1/16, 1/17, 1/23, 1/24 9am-2:30pm

Clinical Days for 2 Groups: 1/25, 1/30, 1/31 OR 2/6, 2/7, 2/8 from 7am-3:30pm

Evening Hybrid

This is a 5 week course

2 Class Days per week

Course Totals 10 in Person Days: 5 Class Days and 5 Clinical Days

Total Cost is $650 and requires a $250 deposit to start

Meets on Mondays/Thursdays from 5pm-9:30pm (Week of Christmas and New Years meets Tuesday/Thursday)

Class Days: 12/11, 12/14, 12/18, 12/21, 12/26 from 5pm-9:30pm

Clinical Days: 12/28, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/11 from 5pm-9:30pm

January 15th - February 18th

Meets on Mondays/Thursdays from 5pm-9:30pm

Class Days: 1/15, 1/18, 1/22, 1/25, 1/29 from 5pm-9:30pm

Clinical Days: 2/1, 2/5, 2/8, 2/12, 2/15 from 5pm-9:30pm

February 19th - March 24th

Meets on Mondays/Thursdays from 5pm-9:30pm

Class Days: 2/19, 2/22, 2/26, 2/29, 3/4 from 5pm-9:30pm

Clinical Days: 3/7, 3/11, 3/14, 3/18, 3/21 from 5pm-9:30pm

Weekend Hybrid

This is a 5 week course

1 Class Day per week (Meets on Saturdays)

You have 2 1/2 classes and 3 clinical days

9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

1 Half Day from 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Clinical days meet at 8:45 AM

Total cost is $725 and requires a deposit of $250 to start

                    • Nurse Aides provide care for patients in nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, and other healthcare facilities. An active Kansas Nurse Aide Certification is required by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services prior to enrollment in Certified Medication Aide or Home Health Aide. Most nursing schools now require CNA prior to admission to LPN or RN programs.
